Nu Allumé Wins Two Prevention Beauty Awards for Menopause Friendly Skincare

Nu Allumé Wins Two Prevention Beauty Awards for Menopause Friendly Skincare

We have some exciting news to share.

Nu Allumé has been named a double winner in the 2026 Prevention Beauty Awards, taking out two awards in the Menopause Friendly category.

Our Rosella Radiance Prebiotic Serum has been named Best Microbiome Support Serum, while our Postbiotic Papaya Cleansing Crème has been named Best Barrier Care Cleanser.

For a skincare range created specifically for skin changing through menopause, these are two awards that mean a great deal to us.

More than collagen, hydration and the skin barrier

When we talk about menopausal skin, we tend to hear the same things: collagen declines, skin becomes drier and the skin barrier changes.

But that is not the whole story.

Menopause changes your skin’s microbiome.

Like your gut, your skin has its own microbiome. It plays an important role in helping keep your skin healthy, comfortable and protected.

This is the microbiome-menopause connection and it is what led us to create Nu Allumé.

We spent almost two years working alongside Australian PhD qualified microbiome scientists to develop skincare specifically for changing skin and its microbiome.

That is why seeing microbiome support recognised alongside barrier care in the Prevention Beauty Awards feels particularly significant.

“When we started developing Nu Allumé, hardly anyone was talking about menopause and the skin microbiome. To now see microbiome support recognised in the Prevention Beauty Awards feels significant, not just for us, but for the conversation around menopausal skin.”

Desré Tate, Founder, Nu Allumé

Winner: Best Microbiome Support Serum

Rosella Radiance Prebiotic Serum

Our concentrated daily serum combines microbiome supporting prebiotics with Rosella, Vitamin C, Resveratrol, CoQ10, Hyaluronic Acid and Copper Tripeptide 1.

It helps support thinning skin, improve the look of firmness and elasticity and calm the sensitivity that often comes with change, while targeting uneven tone and fine lines.

Being named Best Microbiome Support Serum is especially meaningful because supporting the skin microbiome has been central to Nu Allumé from the beginning.

Winner: Best Barrier Care Cleanser

Postbiotic Papaya Cleansing Crème

Cleansing matters when skin starts to feel drier, more sensitive or simply different through menopause.

Our Postbiotic Papaya Cleansing Crème was created to cleanse without leaving skin with that tight, stripped feeling.

Papaya ferment is combined with Shea Butter, Aloe, Vitamin E, Vitamin B5 and Sunflower Oil in a creamy formula that leaves skin feeling clean, soft and comfortable.

Being named Best Barrier Care Cleanser recognises another important part of caring for changing skin: respecting it from the very first step of your routine.

A changing conversation about menopausal skin

These awards come just over a year after Nu Allumé quietly launched in 2025 and follow our Rosella Radiance Prebiotic Serum winning Gold in the 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards.

For us, though, there is something particularly encouraging about these latest wins.

Best Microbiome Support Serum. Best Barrier Care Cleanser. Both in the Menopause Friendly category.

Those award titles themselves reflect a broader conversation about menopausal skin, one that is beginning to look beyond dryness and collagen alone.

That matters because women deserve to understand what is actually changing in their skin.

Menopause changes your skin’s microbiome.

The science is still emerging, but we know considerably more today than we did even a few years ago. And as that understanding grows, so too can the way we care for skin through perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause.

To have that approach recognised by Prevention, with two awards for microbiome support and barrier care, means a great deal.

But what matters most is what sits behind them.

The more we understand about what menopause actually does to our skin, the better we can care for it.

Menopause changes your skin’s microbiome. Your skincare should understand that too.
